Bendigo Baptist Church - (Est 1859) - A member of the Baptist Union of Victoria
Baptists were few in numbers in Sandhurst (now Bendigo) during the massive gold rush of the 1850's which brought tens of thousands of fortune seekers to the central Victorian region. The Bendigo Baptist Church has, since 1859, been meeting the needs of a diverse range of people of all ages with Christian worship, prayer, teaching and support with both youth and adult activities for the Bendigo & wider community.

Featured Ministry
Plugged Youth is an exciting youth program for years 7-10. It runs weekly from 7:30 to 9:30pm on a Friday evening. It meets at the Bendigo Baptist Church and all are welcome for a night jam-packed with fun and fellowship. Highlights includes: games, skits, bands/worship nights, Bible studies, speakers, dances, theme nights and other crazy, wild things!

A comment from the Senior Pastor
Dear Church FamilyThis past month has seen us start a new preaching series entitled ‘A Legacy in the Making’ that I honestly believe will have a profound impact upon our church and our own individual lives. Moses followed the call of God and in doing so learnt many valuable lessons for his life. As we work through this series, I’m convinced that God is going to speak to each of us (young, old, male and female) and in doing so, reveal important biblical truths that we must embrace and take hold of for our lives. . . . .
